Description
To strengthen firearms storage requirements by amending the Storage, Display, Transportation and Handling of Firearms by Individuals Regulations as well as the Storage, Display, Transportation and Handling of Firearms by Businesses Regulations
Potential impacts on Canadians, including businesses
Businesses and individuals may be required to store firearms of all three classifications – non-restricted, restricted, and prohibited – according to more stringent conditions, which may result in the need to procure additional materials necessary for storage. This would increase the security of legally owned firearms.
