Purpose : This project aims to reduce the number of children involved in anti-social behaviour and possible involvement in future criminality. The project will increase parenting capacity of high risk families and new parents in a very small isolated First Nation community. The programming will include building a network of strong supports within the community as well as providing educational components Various programs will be offered such as weekly family activities involving elders, traditional language, cultural and/or land-based activities, a series of workshops and presentations on parenting.
