| Purpose : |
The main project idea is to create an environment in which youth feel safe and empowered in changing risky lifestyles to healthier living by enhancing the support and encouragement and role-modelling skills of peer leaders and parents. Youth will be encouraged to choose healthy behaviours and abstain from dangerous or addictive activities. The two primary focuses are to develop youth leaders as role models, mentors and activity planners, and to strengthen the ability of parents to support, encourage and positively influence their children. |
