| Purpose : |
The project will target 120 youth, ages 16-25, who are directly involved in, or who are at the highest risk of involvement in, gang linked violence with a specific focus on youth and young adults with an African Nova Scotian heritage. It will intervene through promoting educational achievement, developing employment skills, making available addiction and other counelling supports, and by generally providing a constructive environment with which to counter the lure of a criminal lifestyle. |
