The following 17 community organizations are receiving support from Public Safety Canada’s Security Infrastructure Pilot (SIP) Program:

Temple Anshe Sholom (Hamilton) is a place of worship that provides a safe and welcoming environment to the local Jewish and non-Jewish community. The funding amount approved is $12,195.

The Hindu Samaj of Hamilton and Region (Hamilton) strives to satisfy the spiritual, social, educational, and cultural needs of the Hindu community residing in Hamilton and surrounding communities. The funding amount approved is $68,500.

The Muslim Association of Hamilton (Hamilton) promotes education and provides religious and social services to the Muslim community in Hamilton. The funding amount approved is $26,507.50.

Chabad of Midtown (Toronto) provides spiritual, educational, cultural and social services for the Jewish community in the Toronto area. The funding amount approved is $21,771.75.

Eitz Chaim Schools - Spring Farm (Toronto) provides a formal Orthodox education to Jewish girls, offering a curriculum that includes both Hebrew and general studies. The funding amount approved is $15,000.

The Sephardic Educational Foundation of Toronto (Toronto) is a community centre offering a full range of social, sacred and academic programs to support the Jewish culture. The funding amount approved is $5,368.75.

Chabad of Mississauga (Mississauga) is an organization serving the Jewish populations of Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton and Milton, through a variety of programs for children, students, adults, families, hospital patients and senior citizens. The funding amount approved is $4,343.

The Muslim Association of Canada - Olive Grove School (Mississauga) provides religious, educational and social programs designed to support the local Muslim community. The funding amount approved is $9,807.45.

Cheder Chabad (Thornhill) offers a comprehensive secular education in Torah scholarship and classic Jewish values. The funding amount approved is $9,180.23.

Temple Har Zion (Thornhill) offers a broad scope of religious, educational, social action and social programs in the Judaic tradition. The funding amount approved is $7,067.38.

Beth Jacob Congregation (Kitchener) is an Orthodox synagogue providing religious services to its members and the community. The funding amount approved is $6,000.

The Voices of Vedas Cultural Sabha Incorporated of Toronto (Richmond Hill) offers a variety of religious, social and academic programs to promote and sustain the Hindu culture and its values. The funding amount approved is $87,670.

The Muslim Welfare Centre of Toronto (Scarborough) offers support to the Muslim community through religious, educational and social programs. The funding amount approved is $5,861.39.

Mahamevna Bhavana Asapuwa (Markham) is a place of worship dedicated to the practice and dissemination of Theravada Buddhism, with the aim of enhancing the spiritual lives of the local Buddhist community. The funding amount approved is $21,550.

The Lebanese Muslim Society Centre (Niagara Falls) supports the religious, social, cultural and educational needs of the Muslim community in the Niagara regionThe funding amount approved is $50,149.36.

The Islamic Society of Niagara Peninsula (Niagara Falls) provides for the fulfillment of the religious, social, cultural and educational needs of the Muslim community. The funding amount approved is $3,750.92.

The Ottawa Theravada Buddhist Vihara and Cultural Centre, Inc. (Ottawa) promotes Buddhism through spiritual, cultural and educational programs. The funding amount approved is $925.
