This program helps staff at all levels to gain the confidence and skills to prepare and deliver effective presentations. It shows a young, panic-stricken executive who has been told that she has to present a written report in person to the board. Her first run-through is a disaster, but with encouragement from a colleague she soon learns the secrets of making an effective presentation. She has no reason to worry, providing she approaches the task methodically.
By following a number of simple steps - Position, Options and Proposal - she is able to conquer her fears and make a successful presentation. She then discovers that no two audiences are the same and that she must adapt her presentation accordingly.
