Samba Security Updates

The purpose of this advisory is to bring attention to a recent Samba security advisory.
Samba has released updates to address multiple security vulnerabilities. Exploitation of these vulnerabilities may allow an attacker to bypass certain security restrictions and perform unauthorized actions. Such actions may include modifying passwords from other users and causing denial of service.

- Samba 4.6.13 and prior versions

CVE References: CVE-2018-1050 and CVE-2018-1057
CCIRC recommends that owners/operators test and deploy the vendor released update or workaround to affected platforms accordingly.
