Exim Security Advisory

The purpose of this advisory is to bring attention to a security advisory for Exim.


Exim has released a security advisory to address vulnerability in the SMTP listener before version 4.90.1. By sending a handcrafted message, a buffer overflow may happen. This can be used to execute code remotely.

Suggested Action

CCIRC recommends that system administrators test and deploy the vendor-released updates to affected applications accordingly.
