Security Update for Adobe Flash Player

The purpose of this advisory is to bring attention to recently released security update for Adobe Flash Player.
Adobe has released security updates for Adobe Flash Player for Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Chrome OS. These updates address a regression that could lead to the unintended reset of the global settings preference file.
Affected software versions:
- Adobe Flash Player Desktop Runtime 184.108.40.206 and earlier versions Windows, Macintosh
- Adobe Flash Player for Google Chrome 220.127.116.11 and earlier versions Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Chrome OS
- Adobe Flash Player for Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer 11 18.104.22.168 and earlier versions Windows 10 and 8.1
- Adobe Flash Player Desktop Runtime 22.214.171.124 and earlier versions Linux
CVE Reference: CV-2017-11305
CCIRC recommends that system administrators test and deploy the vendor-released updates to affected applications accordingly.
