Apache Tomcat Security Updates

Purpose

The purpose of this advisory is to bring attention to recently released security updates for Apache Tomcat.

Assessment

The Apache Foundation has released security updates to address vulnerabilities in Apache Tomcat. Exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to take control of a vulnerable server.

Affected Products:
- Apache Tomcat 7.0.0 to 7.0.79

Suggested Action

CCIRC recommends that system administrators test and deploy the vendor-released updates to affected applications accordingly or workarounds to affected platforms accordingly.
