FreeRADIUS Security Bulletin

The purpose of this advisory is to bring attention to a security bulletin released by FreeRADIUS.


FreeRADIUS has released fixes to address vulnerabilities in their RADIUS server. Exploitation of these vulnerabilities may allow remote code execution and denial of service.

Versions affected:
FreeRADIUS 2.2.x versions 2.2.9 and earlier
FreeRADIUS 3.0.x versions 3.0.14 and earlier

Suggested action

CCIRC recommends that owner/operators test and deploy the vendor released updates or workarounds to affected platforms accordingly.
