The purpose of this advisory is to bring attention to Drupal security advisories.

Assessment

Drupal has released an update to address a security vulnerability. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow a user to bypass access controls if certain conditions are met.

Affected Versions:
Drupal 8 prior to 8.2.8 and 8.3.1
Drupal 7.x is not affected.

Suggested Action

CCIRC recommends that owners/operators test and deploy the vendor released update or workaround to affected platforms accordingly.
