Juniper 2015-12 Out of Cycle Security Bulletin

Purpose

The purpose of this advisory is to bring attention to the recently released Out of Cycle Security Bulletin Juniper ScreenOS.

Assessment

Juniper has released security fixes to address two vulnerabilities in Juniper ScreenOS. The first vulnerability may allow an unauthenticated remote administration over SSH or Telnet. The second vulnerability may allow a skilled attacker to decrypt encrypted VPN traffic.

Versions affected: ScreenOS 6.2.0r15 through 6.2.0r18 and 6.3.0r12 through 6.3.0r20

Suggested action

CCIRC recommends that owner/operators test and deploy the vendor released updates or workarounds to affected platforms accordingly.
