Google Releases Security Update for Chrome
Date: 6 February 2015
The purpose of this advisory is to bring attention to Google Chrome stable channel update.
The stable channel has been updated to 40.0.2214.111 for Windows, Mac and Linux.
This release includes 11 security fixes. This update addresses a vulnerability which could potentially allow an attacker to take over an affected system.

CCIRC recommends that system administrators test and deploy the vendor-released updates to affected applications accordingly.
