VMware vSphere product Security Updates

The purpose of this advisory is to bring attention to VMware vSphere product updates, which address multiple vulnerabilities.


VMware vSphere product updates address a Cross Site Scripting (XSS) issue, a certificate validation issue and security vulnerabilities in third-party libraries.

VMSA-2014-0012 - VMware vSphere product updates address the above security vulnerabilities.

Affected Products:

CVE Reference: CVE-2014-3797, CVE-2014-8371, CVE-2013-2877, CVE-2014-0191, CVE-2014-0015, CVE-2014-0138, CVE-2013-1752 and CVE-2013-4238.


Suggested Action

CCIRC recommends that system administrators test and deploy the vendor-released updates to affected applications accordingly.
