The purpose of this advisory is to bring attention to the monthly Microsoft Security Bulletin Summary for September.


The summary covers 4 bulletins (1 Critical and 3 Important), which address multiple vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, .NET Framework, Windows Task Scheduler and Microsoft Lync Server.

MS14-055 Vulnerabilities in Microsoft Lync Server Could Allow Denial of Service (2990928)

Suggested Action

CCIRC recommends that system administrators test and deploy the vendor-released updates to affected applications accordingly.
