Security updates for Moodle

The purpose of this advisory to bring attention to recent updates for Moodle.


Moodle is an open sourced learning platform widely used for learning and training in educational facilities across Canada. CCIRC is aware of vulnerabilities in Moodle that, if left unpatched, could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to perform web injects. This could lead to unauthorized disclosure of information, unauthorized modifications or disruption of service.

Suggested action

CCIRC recommends that system administrators test and deploy the vendor-released updates to affected applications accordingly.
