Multiple Vulnerabilities in Cisco WebEx

Purpose
The purpose of this advisory is to bring attention to multiple vulnerabilities in the Cisco WebEx Recording Format and Advanced Recording Format.
Assessment
Cisco has released a security advisory related to multiple vulnerabilities in the Cisco WebEx Recording Format and Advanced Recording Format. Exploitation of these vulnerabilities could cause an affected player to crash or allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.

- Cisco WebEx Business Suite (WBS28) client builds prior to T28.12 CVSS Score: 9.3
- Cisco WebEx Business Suite (WBS27) client builds prior to T27LDSP32EP16 (27.32.16) CVSS Score: 9.3
- Cisco WebEx 11 versions prior to 1.2.10 with client builds prior to T28.12 CVSS Score: 9.3
- Cisco WebEx Meetings Server client builds prior to 2.0.0.1677 CVSS Score: 9.3

Suggested action
CCIRC recommends that system administrators test and deploy the vendor-released updates to affected applications accordingly.
