The Centre’s objectives are to:
- Foster a culture of partnership by contributing to meaningful relationships among Canada’s national security community and better enabling partners to work together to protect Canada while respecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of Canadians.
- Reduce barriers by working with national security partners to identify and address obstacles to responsible and effective national security information sharing.
- Increase awareness of national security information sharing by being open and transparent about the Government of Canada’s information sharing practices and to increase understanding and awareness of national security policies among Canadians.
