Final report of the Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182
On May 1, 2006, the Prime Minister announced the establishment of the Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182, under Part 1 of the Inquiries Act, with retired Supreme Court of Canada Justice John Major as Commissioner.
In holding this Inquiry, the Government of Canada intended to honour the lives of those lost by answering unresolved questions and learning from this atrocity.
On June 17, 2010, the Government of Canada tabled the final report of the Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182, titled Air India Flight 182: A Canadian Tragedy.
