CFIA issues Health Hazard Alert for certain prepared meals due to possible Listeria
On May 11, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) issued a Health Hazard Alert warning the public not to consume certain Cuisine Bernart brand meals because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. These products have been distributed in Quebec. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products. The manufacturer, Cuisine Bern-Art Inc., LaSalle, Quebec, is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.

CCIRC releases advisory AV10-014: Microsoft Security Bulletin for the Month of May
On May 11, Public Safety Canada's Canadian Cyber Incident Response Centre (CCIRC) released advisory AV10-014 to bring attention to the monthly Microsoft Security Bulletin Summary, which addresses two critical vulnerabilities. Microsoft has released security bulletins and has published a risk matrix table to assist organizations in evaluating and prioritizing deployment of these security updates. CCIRC recommends that administrators test and deploy these updates at the earliest opportunity.
