Multiple Vulnerabilities in Cisco Small Business RV Series Routers

Purpose

The purpose of this advisory is to bring attention to multiple vulnerabilities in Cisco Small Business RV Series Routers.

Assessment

Cisco has released software updates that will address the following vulnerabilities:

  1. Cisco RV Series Routers Command Injection Vulnerability
  2. Cisco RV Series Routers HTTP Referrer Header Vulnerability
  3. Cisco RV Series Routers Insecure File Upload Vulnerability

Suggested Action

CCIRC recommends that system administrators identify their affected assets and potential interdependencies with their organization’s critical services, and follow their patch management process accordingly.
