Security Updates available for Adobe Reader and Acrobat

Purpose

The purpose of this advisory is to bring attention to the following critical patch update released for Adobe Reader and Acrobat.

Assessment

Adobe has released the following security bulletin:
APSB14-20 - Security Updates available for Adobe Reader and Acrobat

These updates address vulnerabilities that could potentially allow an attacker to take over the affected system. These updates address critical vulnerabilities in the software.

Suggested Action

CCIRC recommends that system administrators test and deploy the vendor-released updates to affected applications accordingly.
