Oracle Security Alert for CVE-2013-1493

The purpose of this advisory is to bring attention to the following Oracle Java SE Critical patch updates.
On March 4, 2013, Oracle released a critical patch update. This security patch addresses two security vulnerabilities in Java running in web browsers.
CVE References: CVE-2013-0809 and CVE-2013-1493
Affected Products Include:
- JDK and JRE 7 Update 15 and earlier
- JDK and JRE 6 Update 41 and earlier
- JDK and JRE 5.0 Update 40 and earlier
CCIRC recommends that system administrators identify their affected assets and potential interdependencies with their organization's critical services, and follow their patch management process accordingly.
Oracle strongly recommends that customers apply the fixes due to the severity of these vulnerabilities and exploitation "in the wild".
